Chocolate-dipped Pretzel Peanut Butter Bites

If I had to survive on one food for the rest of my life, it would be chocolate covered pretzels. (I'm pretty sure there are lots of scenarios that would require me to choose a single food source, so I figured this out long ago.)

So really, how could I not make these?

This treat combines chocolate pretzely goodness with mini Reeses cups.  These are a bit time consuming because they are dipped, but they are worth it.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites
Recipe from Love from the Oven
-Classic pretzel twists
-Reeses peanut butter cup minis (unwrapped)
-Milk or dark chocolate baking bar, chopped

Sandwich one peanut butter cup between two pretzels.  Place on a plate and microwave for about 30 seconds or just until PB cup is barely melted.  Remove plate from microwave and press gently on each pretzel top to "seal" the pretzels to the cup. Move plate to freezer to cool completely.

Meanwhile, melt your chocolate in a small bowl or glass in the microwave at 50% power stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Do not overheat!!

Working one at a time, place a PB/pretzel combo on a fork or dipping fork, and lower gently into the chocolate.  Turn to coat if needed.  When completely covered, pull fork out and tap the "neck" gently against the side of the bowl to get a nice even finish on top.

Place pretzel bite on a parchment lined baking sheet.  Repeat with remaining PB bites. Once full, move tray to freezer to set completely.

Drizzle with melted white or dark chocolate if desired.
